Pricing

One flat monthly fee. Everything included.

Most Genacom clients invest $875 to $3,000 per month for complete website management: hosting, security, backups, monitoring, updates and the changes you ask for. No hourly invoices, no per-request charges.

How Genacom pricing works

Every site is scoped individually, then billed as one predictable monthly amount.

01

Scoped to your site

The plans below are examples of where sites typically land. Your quote names exactly what is covered, so nothing depends on how a month goes.

02

Billed as one number

One flat monthly amount for the whole stack and the whole team. No hourly invoices, no per-request charges, no overage line.

03

Two things never change

The full nTier stack is always included, and you always own your site, content and accounts. Leave whenever you like and take it all with you.

First, know which aisle you are shopping in

"Website management" is four different products sharing one name, and their prices are nowhere near each other. A $89 plan and a $875 plan are not the same thing at different prices. Here is the whole menu, so you can price us against the right column.

$0–$20/ month

DIY tools

Software that automates updates and backups. No people, no accountability. If it breaks at 2am, it is still your problem.

$39–$359/ month

Care plans

People keep your site updated, backed up and scanned. Hosting is extra, and real development work is not included.

$435–$3,000+/ month

Full-service managementnTier lives here

The whole stack and the whole team under one flat fee: hosting, security, monitoring, updates and the work itself. One bill, one phone number.

$15,000+/ month

An in-house team

Two to four people on payroll, once benefits, software and management time are counted, covering only the skills you hired for.

Market ranges from a September 2026 review of 25 published website-management providers. Genacom nTier starts at $875, inside the normal range for full-service management.

Where sites typically land

Every plan includes the full nTier stack; what changes is how much we do each month, how fast we are on the clock and how much of your web department we become. Prices are starting points and your written quote is exact.

Always included

At every level, on every plan

The full nTier stack is the floor, not an add-on.

  • Managed hosting, SSL and DNS with a 99.9% uptime SLA
  • Daily offsite backups with tested restores
  • 24/7 uptime and security monitoring with emergency response
  • Security hardening, firewall, malware scanning and patching
  • CMS, plugin and dependency updates tested before release
  • Direct access to your team by phone and email; no ticket queues
  • Monthly report of uptime, work completed and recommendations
  • Full ownership of your domain, code, content and analytics

Which plan fits

The nTier stack is the floor in every plan. What you are really choosing is how much of your web department we become. If your site sits between two lines, take the lower one; moving up later is a conversation, not a new contract.

Pricing factors

What affects your monthly price

Five things move a quote up or down. Each is priced in, not billed as a surprise.

  1. 01

    Website complexity and traffic volume

A 10-page marketing site and a 2,000-SKU store with integrations need different infrastructure and different amounts of engineer time.

  2. 02

Number of pages and frequency of updates

Plans include a monthly allowance of design, content and development hours. Sites that change weekly sit higher than sites that change quarterly.

  3. 03

    Security and compliance requirements

ADA/WCAG 2.2 accessibility, GDPR/CCPA privacy auditing, PCI scope and healthcare or education requirements add review work and are priced in, not billed as surprises.

  4. 04

    Integration needs with existing systems

CRM, ERP, fulfillment, payment, SSO and marketing-automation connections need monitoring and occasional code changes when vendors change their APIs.

  5. 05

    Platform and code condition

A clean, current codebase costs less to manage than an inherited site with years of patches. Onboarding includes a cleanup so the ongoing fee reflects a healthy site.

Flat fee vs. hourly

Paid to finish, not to bill

Hourly billing pays an agency more the longer the work takes, so the two sides want opposite things. A flat monthly fee lines them up: we are paid the same whether a fix takes twenty minutes or two hours, so the incentive is to do it properly the first time.

Where hourly billing gets stuck

Slower work pays better
When every hour is billable, finishing quickly costs the agency money. Nothing in the arrangement rewards speed.
Budgets you cannot forecast
Costs swing month to month, so the line item in your budget is a guess until the invoice arrives.
Friction over small requests
Tracking every billable minute makes people hesitate before asking for a small change, and that is when sites drift out of date.

What a flat fee changes

A number you can budget
One monthly amount, known in advance, for the whole stack and the whole team. No end-of-month surprises to explain.
Efficiency is rewarded
Because the fee does not move, fixing the underlying problem beats billing for the same issue every month.
The scope is written down
Your quote names what is included, so "is this extra?" stops being a monthly conversation.

Compare the options

The real cost of the alternatives

The monthly price tag is only the beginning. When comparing options, count coordination time, hiring delays, training, tools and the cost of things going wrong.

In-house team

A minimal two-to-four-person web team, once benefits (30% to 40% on top of base pay), software, training and management are included, and it still covers only the skills you hired for.

$180k–$400k+per year

Freelancers and agencies

No ongoing coverage, and someone on your side still has to find, brief, manage and QA every vendor.

Hosting-company care plans

FAQs

Pricing questions

Read the full website management services overview.

How much does website management cost per month?

Genacom plans run from $875 to $3,000 per month for most businesses. The price depends on site complexity, traffic, how often the site changes, compliance requirements and integrations. Every plan includes hosting, security, backups, monitoring, updates, changes and reporting.

Why is $875 more than the $89 plans I see advertised?

Those are care plans: updates, backups and scanning on a site you host somewhere else, with no development work included. nTier is full-service management, which the market prices at $435 to $3,000 a month. The cheaper plans are a different product, not a cheaper version of this one.

Are there setup or onboarding fees?

Onboarding, migration to managed infrastructure and the initial cleanup audit are scoped into your quote. Most clients see no separate setup fee; sites in poor condition may have a one-time cleanup line so the monthly fee reflects a healthy site.

What happens if I need more work than my plan includes?

Your dedicated engineer will tell you before anything is billed. Small overages are usually absorbed; larger projects such as a redesign or a new integration are quoted as a fixed price or rolled into a higher plan. There are never surprise hourly invoices.

Is there a contract or minimum term?

Plans are month to month after onboarding. Many clients have stayed for more than ten years because the work is good, not because of a contract.

Do you charge per request or per hour?

No. nTier is a flat monthly fee. Requests within your plan's monthly allowance are simply done. Hourly billing rewards slow work; a flat fee rewards fixing things properly the first time.

Can I get an exact price before committing?

Yes. Book a strategy call or request a quote and you will receive a written scope with an exact flat monthly price, usually within two business days.
